Many of you may be wondering how those served by our Tying Vines projects are faring in the midst of this crisis. This month’s blog provides an update from some of our partners. During this pandemic, thank you for continuing to pray and support these efforts to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Even in the best of times, life is challenging for the many who are served by our partners. Here at Tying Vines, through our partners we seek to provide hope, improve the quality of life and positively impact some of the world’s most vulnerable. As we personally struggle to cope with the magnitude of the COVID-19 virus, our inclination is to focus our attention on our immediate surroundings and concerns. Yet, as we have discovered, we share our concerns with people worldwide who are also struggling to adapt to this new normal (hopefully brief in time). This has given people worldwide the opportunity to find global unity in this shared crisis. As is often the case, it is our shared values that bring peace and reconciliation between peoples of different cultures and backgrounds. We celebrate with the people of China as the virus seems to be receding and pray for the people of Italy and Iran as the virus takes a heavy toll. Let us continue to shoulder the burdens together of those who are vulnerable to the tribulations of this world. Thank you,
President, Tying Vines, Inc
